Tak Hing Food Co. manufactures and sells steamed Chinese style bao’s which they sell wholesale. When they were looking to enter the retail market, Tak Hing Food Co. came to BrandWorks to get a refresh of their existing branding and to design packaging for their 4 and 6 packs of bao’s.

BrandWorks took a fresh approach, focussing on clarity of the logo, whilst retaining the existing brand elements, such as the chef icon. Bright colours, that avoid typical Chinese cliche’s, give the brand a contemporary and fresh appeal that pops off a supermarket shelf, attracting a broad customer base within the Australian market. The frosted matte finish of the packaging is a careful balance between premium and approachable.
