REIEM is a new community-first platform empowering personal health, beauty and positive transformation from the inside out. A destination for naturally derived, science-backed body and mind solutions for the modern lifestyler. Its tagline, S.M.A.R.T BEAUTY stands for Sustainable, Modern, Adaptogenic, Results-driven, Tried, Tested and true, and forms the philosophical approach for the brand and its range of products.

The idea for the REIEM came from the founder, who struggled with her own skin from an early age. A cumulation of her own personal journey in search of skin products to reverse the signs of ageing and stress. This resulted in creating a line of health and beauty that comprises edible beauty, biological beauty and nutri-cosmetic enriched products, nootropics and adaptogen-based supplements. 

 
 

Approach

BrandWorks was engaged to provide the overall brand position, identity, copywriting and packaging for REIEM. REIEM is a brand recognised for sharing leading science, harnessing the power of S.M.A.R.T Beauty and honouring the health benefits of the earth and sea. Considerate, low impact, and supporters of a holistic path to health and wellness, the brand communicates its values in a friendly, informative, and helpful way. The minimalist brand identity underscores its complete understanding of the end user; one that wants results with minimal effort and confusion. The type on the packaging is oversized and uncluttered, with subtle debossed effects to highlight the SMART BEAUTY concept without over complication. Its hero product, Marine Collegen comes in various flavours, with names inspired by the gourmet scene, such as “Tokyo Grape” and “Yuzu Lemon”. The tone of voice seeks to engage, educate and empower. Be kind first, with the support and encouragement to transform, the brand is there to help you discover the beauty deep within.

 
 

Challenges

One of the key challenges was to ensure the brand has its own place in a highly saturated and competitive beauty category. With bold claims and stereotypical before and afters being posted by brands and influencers across the internet and day-time TV, REIEM wanted to reset and begin the conversation from the point of view of the consumer and what’s was important to them. The brand identity and packaging needed to convey trust and genuineness, highlighting positive transformation with a contemporary edge.

 
 

Result

REIEM Marine collagen range isthe first in the range to launch the brand in market. Drawing on science and naturally-derived treatments, REIEM will extend to other complimentary products and a subscription-based online store and wholesale distribution for retail and therapy salons. With a kind heart and knowing smile, REIEM will be your guide to a path of self-discovery and harnesses the eternal light that can only come from being nourished by nature.
